My entry for
 's Contest!Pure cosplays as Roll (best VG character ever!) and Canime cosplays as SonSon, both characters that appear on Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Sonson has a move called "Cook", in which she takes out a bottle that somehow sucks up the opponent inside of it. Once the opponent is captured, Sonson then seals the bottle, tosses it into boiling pot water, and fans the flames so it'll start cooking. In Dragon Ball, they had something similar. These two thugs Terror and Plague also had a container that would suck people up... the twist there was that once inside, the victim would be dissolved into sake.... neat, huh? I don't know if the same principle applies to Sonson's attack... though I'd sure hope so!! I figured Canime wouldn't wanna miss THAT opportunity... Canime and Pure both belong to Comments Seeing as how they're both derived from the same myth, I'd say it's possible.
-- "I don't get sick. I'm invincible." "just wait that powerup will wear off one day and then BLAM your down to your last man" "I don't think so. As you recall, I have 70 lives, and a full cache of backup powerups. Don't make me use the frog suit on you." Yeah! I read about that on Wikipedia, lol. They both got it from a traditional Chinese novel called Journey To The West, no?
I must admit, it was a bit of a letdown that the Dragon Ball guys didn't come up with that idea themselves. It absolutely blew my mind when I was a kid. -- Don't misunderstand me. You can make the rules, but I'll make the arrangements. - Ringo Starr Guy. Akira Toriyama came up with the story himself (not counting basing bits off of Journey).

-- My other galleries are on Furaffinity and Eka's Portal. Do Not Ask me for links.  I remember from my lovely childhood how my friend and I would put grasshoppers in empty 2 liter cola bottles, fill it up with water, and then kick it and throw it around. Good times.
 Anyway, this sounds even more painful! Hehe... and already I'm imagining what's happening from the inside... Nice work. |
